Last week we hosted our inaugural Technical Forum co-hosted with our User Forum at Legoland, Windsor.
This is an idea that we’ve been discussing for some time – we have so many ideas and so much information to pass to customers that would help them run their services better, more efficiently and provide a better user experience. However, running an event of this size requires a significant amount of work. This year we made it a key part of our calendar and am I glad we did.
We were very fortunate to find sponsors in our vendors who have worked with us for long enough and in enough depth to know the value that we bring to the table and so were willing to contribute not only financially, but in people and time as well. This, coupled with some excellent content made for an extremely successful event.

Many of our customers attending were interested in copies of the slides – unfortunately, due to the sensitivity of the information presented in the user forum, none of those slides are being distributed. We have however been able to secure permission from the speakers in the technical forum to distribute their slides. We have had to remove one or two slides which presented information that vendors were unable to distribute further, mainly statements of future intent for their products, but the majority of the slides are intact. If you want to download the slides, we’ve made them available on our technical support site in the Downloads are – to gain access you’ll need a login for the site. If you are having trouble accessing the files, please get in touch.
We’re overjoyed by the responses we saw on the day from vendors and customers alike who all regarded the event a resounding success. We’re going to be sending a questionnaire around to those who attended soon to gather feedback for next year’s event – I’m expecting to see even more customers and vendors attending!
